What Is Cold-Pressed Juice?

Cold Pressed Juice
We do things differently here at Journey Juice. From start to finish we ensure that our product is the highest quality. We source only natural produce and ingredients for our menu of juice creations. Our mission is to provide a healthy, delicious drink that is nourishing, refreshing, and energizing. Juicing has become more popular in America and we are delighted to be Athens first Juicery. Now, you may be wondering, what exactly is Cold-Pressed Juice?

Cold-pressed Juice is an advanced way of juicing that retains the most nutrient value. In the chopping process there is no heating or oxidation of the produce. The produce is then “pressed” by a hydraulic press to completely yield the most amount of juice. In doing so, the juice retains the highest amount of vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals from the vegetables and fruits. Thus, Cold-Pressed Juice is by far the most nutrient dense juicing product.

Below is a chart that shows the difference between A, B, and N juicers. A = Centrifugal (most common juicer), B = Masticating Juicers (Omega, Green Star, & Champion) CP = Cold Pressed Juicers (Norwalk)

juicer-comparisonAs you can see the difference is quite amazing between juicing techniques. For example, Cold-pressed carrots have over 5 times the amount of calcium, than Centrifugal juiced carrots! Also, our bottling process enables you to purchase several bottles, cleanses, and juice boxes at once, knowing that each bottle will retain the integrity of the product for 5 days.

Journey Juice provides the best tasting and healthiest cold-pressed beverages available. Our juice press extracts 99 percent of the nutrients from the raw fruits and vegetables leaving only an insoluble fiber pulp extract. But that pulp does not go to waste. We feed it to some happy and healthy local goats!
